Privacy Policy
Last updated November 2, 2026
This policy explains what personal information Altshuler Inc. ("Altshuler Dev", "we") collects through this website, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Requests you send us. When you use a request or contact form: your name, email, company or website, budget, what you're looking for and any message.
- Technical data. Our hosting and security providers process IP addresses, browser type and request logs to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
- Your cookie choice. A record of your cookie preference and the time you made it, kept in your own browser.
Cookies and similar technologies
This website uses cookies and similar technologies, such as browser local storage, as described below. In accordance with the EU ePrivacy Directive and its national implementations, the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, Canada's PIPEDA and Quebec's Law 25, we store or access information on your device without your consent only where it is strictly necessary to provide the service you have requested. All other technologies are used only with your prior consent.
- Strictly necessary (always active). Your cookie preference, stored in your browser's local storage under the name "ad-consent" for up to 12 months, and security cookies that our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may set to detect and block malicious traffic. These cannot be switched off, because the website cannot operate securely without them. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a secure website and complying with consent requirements (GDPR Article 6(1)(f) and (c)).
- Third-party media (consent required). Live city video on the homepage is embedded from YouTube, operated by Google, in its privacy-enhanced mode. It loads only after you give consent. When it plays, Google may set cookies or use local storage and may process your IP address and device information under its own privacy policy. Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)).
We do not use advertising, analytics, profiling or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not use pixels or fingerprinting. Fonts are served from our own domain, so no font provider receives your data.
Your cookie choices and withdrawing consent
When you first visit, you can accept or reject non-essential cookies with equal ease, or choose by category under Settings. Rejecting has no effect on your access to the website. We record your choice and the time you made it, and we ask again after 12 months or if our use of cookies changes. You may withdraw or change your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it, through at the bottom of every page. Withdrawing consent stops any embedded media immediately and does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track
This website detects Global Privacy Control (GPC) and Do Not Track (DNT) signals sent by your browser. If either signal is present, we treat it as a valid request to opt out and apply it automatically: only strictly necessary cookies are used and no third-party media is loaded, unless you later make a different choice yourself. The Cookie preferences panel confirms when a signal has been detected and honoured. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), and similar US state laws, we treat a GPC signal as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
We do not sell personal information, we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, and we have not done so in the preceding 12 months. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
How we use it, and our legal basis
- To reply to your request, prepare proposals and provide our services, at your request and to take steps before entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
- To keep the site secure and working, in our legitimate interests (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
- To meet legal and accounting obligations (GDPR Article 6(1)(c)).
- To show embedded third-party media, only with your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)).
Who processes it for us
- Cloudflare hosts the site and provides security.
- Formspree delivers the requests you send through our forms to our inbox so we can reply. We don't keep a separate copy on the site.
- YouTube (privacy-enhanced mode) shows a live city camera on the homepage when you hover over or tap a city. YouTube may store data in your browser when a video plays.
These providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States, under their own privacy commitments.
How long we keep it
We keep requests for up to 2 years after our last contact with you, and then delete them. Client and billing records are kept for as long as tax law requires, usually 6 to 7 years, and then deleted.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under Canada's PIPEDA, Quebec's Law 25, the EU and UK GDPR, Israel's Privacy Protection Law and US state laws such as California's), you can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, take a copy of it, or object to how we use it. We will not treat you differently for making a request. To make a request, contact us. We will reply within 30 days.
California residents: we do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.
Who is responsible
Altshuler Inc. is the controller of personal information collected through this website. The Privacy Officer, Altshuler Inc., is the person in charge of the protection of personal information, as required by Quebec's Law 25, and can be reached through our contact page.
